Hey Everybody

First off, I wanna let everyone who doesn't already know, Tyler Nicholas got his mission call to England.

This week has been pretty sweet. To start off on a down note, my MTC comp, Elder Fox, went home. Kinda sucks, he was just was done with it.

But on the up side, we found out the Provo mission, the only English speaking mission that beats us in baptisms (not that it matters but it's fun to compete) is getting split later this year. The St. George mission will be created.

This week I went into a home that was built in 1901.  It was such a cool house and didn't need a lot of fixing up.

One of the biggest rule that is stressed in our mission is to be with our companion AT ALL TIMES. The only time we are away from them is if we go on what's called exchanges. When we both go with an adult male member of the church. We did that this week because we had 2 lessons at the same time. We planned on meeting at the next lesson we had after we were both done. Elder Evensen sent a text saying he was on his way to the next lesson and to meet him there while we were about to leave our first lesson.

The only problem was the lesson we were going to meet at canceled. They were all asleep. So the old guy that I was with dropped me off and drove off thinking Evensen was inside waiting for me. But he was at the other side of our area. Which left me walking down the street by myself for the first time in 5 1/2 months -  looking for someone to be with fast. I finally found the ward's bishop, who just got home when I was knocking at his door and chilled with him till I got back with my companion. It was fun.

At the beginning of the week we had few investigators and only 1 with a goal date to get baptized. Over the week, we've found 5 more people who want to be taught and now have 4 investigators with a baptism date. It's been crazy how we've found them. We've worked really hard to find people to teach, but haven't found anyone on our own efforts. 2 people were meeting with someone in their church and switched over to us. 1 we got at dinner. The family we ate with had a kid who wasn't baptized and wanted to be. 1 was just being led by the spirit. We were looking for a member and missed it by one house, so we ran into a sweet Christian family from the south. We're mainly talking to the dad right now. Our last one was from a random house we decided to knock. It turned out to be a member who was going to have a hard day the next day and hadn't been to church in a while. We committed her to read the Book of Mormon and she was glad we stopped by. She told us to visit the house across the street which is where we found our last investigator.

It's been a great week. Hard work pays off in ways you won't see coming. We also talked with a pastor of another faith and he's going to have us over for dinner and we're gonna tell him all about us because he's heard so much different stuff he doesn't know what to believe. It's gonna be sweet.

So all in all, good week. Hope yall had a good one too.

Love yall,

Elder Pearson
